On December 29th, B2ST‘s Yoseob had a wonderful duet performance with IU at the 2011 SBS Gayo Daejun.

On January 2nd, SBS E! K-Star News aired a special featuring some backstage footage from the Gayo Daejun and it seems Yoseob was quite nervous for the performance.

Before the performance, he had a short interview session with a reporter:

Yoseob: I’m singing a song with IU sunbaenim.
Reporter: What song is it?
Yoseob: “If you want a lover.”
Reporter: If you were really to have a girlfriend what would you do with her?
Yoseob: Go to the amusement park and have a surprising event as well.
Reporter: If you were to date IU?
Yoseob: I’m so nervous and shy, how can that happen? I can barely even sing with her.

After the performance, both IU and Yoseob were asked how the performance went. While IU seemed perfectly fine answering, “It was fun,” Yoseob on the other replied, “I was shaking… I really was shaking… Ah, I feel so shy.”

Perhaps there is no better honor than to be recognized as one of the best by the very artists you look up to.Infinite recently achieved this feat, as they were chosen as the best idol group of 2011 by their fellow seniors and juniors.

MBC Every1 recently surveyed BEAST, Infinite, B1A4, G.NA, T-ara, and the Brown Eyed Girls, and asked them to choose who they personally thought should be considered the best idol of the year. 

The honor went to none other than Infinite, who has quickly risen to the top through strenuous but fruitful promotions all year long. With hits like “Be Mine” and “Paradise” under their belt, they’ve launched themselves to superstardom with trophies and digital chart rankings to show for their achievements. 

Rapper Miryo said, “They’ve now become the trendiest of idols,” while Rainbow’s No Eul said, “They gained popularity and public recognition through their songs alone,” nodding to the group’s non-stop efforts since the day of their debut.

K-Pop 3o Day Challenge; day seventeen.

A k-pop idol you wish was your older sibling.

This one took a lot of thinking .. It took a while before I finally decided on: B2ST’s Junhyung.

It was hard finding a male [since I don’t want another big sister .. =.=] k-pop idol that I liked, but not exactly in that way. I’ve always wanted a brother that was tough, protective, and had kind of a sister complex, which Junhyung looks. I’ve also wanted my brother to be cool and suave, and be able to teach me cool things like archery and take me to a shooting range. I think Junhyung Oppa would be able to do all that + love and care for his dongseng :3

Plus, I’d make him have him pick me up from school and have the girls fawn all over him but then TOO BAD! He is my brother! Nyeh!
